Antonio and Mariajo, administrators
For us it has been a great joy and challenge to take over the administration of the winery Venta d’Aubert. Working the vineyard in a respectful way to maintain and improve its quality, is also a complement to our commitment to conservation and respect for nature. We are aware that abandoning the use of fertilizers and synthetic phytosanitary products together with careful treatment of the vineyards is the way to achieve and accentuate the quality and particularity of our wines.
We want to share this deep feeling for sustainable viticulture and respect for nature with other people.
Stefan Dorst, enólogo
After 21 harvests that I have made in the Venta d’Aubert Winery I want to make a brief summary: the terroir, the local characteristics and climatic pranks put us every year before a new challenge. Our wines with their individual character are a reflection of our winemaking philosophy, I try to make an aromatic watermark in white wines and in red wines I try to capture the sun of Spain with elegance and delicate complexity. The landscape, the natural environment, the architecture and the people are my source of inspiration to make wines of increasingly high quality. The quality of the wines begins with the work carried out in the vineyard, I pursue this objective by giving my support and transmitting my experience to our collaborators who work in the field and in the cellar. Quality cannot be achieved and / or improved only with winemaking, but what has been raised in the vineyard has to be maintained and accentuated.
